2018 Furore Rosso: Marisa Cuomo

This is a red wine from the Amalfi Coast DOC appellation. It’s producer is the iconic Marisa Cuomo that we visited in the summer 2018. The wine is made from a blend of Piedirosso and Aglianico that’s typical of the appellation. The color is ruby with a medium viscosity 13.5% abv. The nose is fascinating with notes of red cherries, licorice and spices. The palate doesn’t disappoint with perfectly balanced acidity and smooth, velvety tannins. The persistence is long and make ask for more. In summary a very good wine that can be paired with any white or red meat dish and pasta. Pm 92
