RePeleo - Cantine Mavi’

This is an Aglianico TAURASI DOCG. It shows a dark ruby color , the core is not consistent with its rim; showing a bottle aging ( 2007 vintage). The viscosity is medium high with slow falling tears ( 14% abv). On the nose a captivating notes of sour black cherry , with harmonious notes  of licorice and tobacco.   The palate is consistent with a full body wine , still with tannins unaffected by the age a medium high acidity and medium persistent.  a good representation of Aglianico Taurasi. To be paired with game meet , sausage, grilled meet amd seasoned cheeses.
