Feudi di San Gregorio : Campanaro 2018

This is a white wine produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, the largest wine producer in Campania. We visited this winery on 12 February 2021 ( see the blog about this visit .. soon on the wine voyager ). It’s a blend of Fiano and Greco, the two best known white grapes grown in Campania. The wine is a yellow straw with gold highlights it has a medium viscosity (13.5% abv). The nose is just enchanting with the Fiano notes of white flowers and ripe pears, citrus notes and menthol also come through the glass. The palate is very harmonious with a medium body and perfectly balanced acidity and notes of almonds and a long finish. In summary a very good white wine that pairs perfectly with any fish dishes ( we paired it with grilled sward fish). PM 92
