RediMore 2016 Mastroberardino
This a red wine from Campania region. It is produced by the largest producer from the region. It is a 2016. This was a very wet season during harvest. The month of September saw heavy rainstorms. The impact on the wine is evident. The color is a dark ruby with the core not true to the rim. It has some cellar aging. The viscosity is medium (13.5% abv). The nose is nevertheless invitating with notes of black cherries, blackberries and a tertiary notes of licorice. The wine gets lost on the palate, with a light body and a very noticeable acidity and tannins which needs more time to smooth. It other words a wine to be paired with some food based on meat or with heavy sauce to balance its acidity. PM: 88
