Tenuta Guado al Tasso : Vermentino Bolgheri DOC 2018

Vermentino - Bolgheri

This is a white wine from Bolgheri produced by Antinidi in their beautiful Guado al Tasso winery. We visited this winery in September 2019. The wine is clear and has pale yellow straw color. A low viscosity (12.5%). The nose is very flowery with jasmine notes, lemon zest and stone fruits. The palate confirms the nose with a refreshing acidity and a medium body and a perfectly balanced minerality, The winery is infact very close to the Sea and its summer breezes caresse the vineyards almost every day. If served cold can be enjoyed as aperitif. It’s otherwise a perfect pairing for a light fish dish or with a paella marinera and grilled calamari ( as we paired it). PM:90
