Located in the heart of Tuscany's Maremma region, Tenuta Fertuna is a relatively young winery that has quickly established itself as a notable player in the Italian wine industry. Founded in 1997, the estate covers approximately 145 hectares, with 50 hectares dedicated to vineyards, and it is situated in an area known for its rich soil and favorable climate. Fertuna's wines are a reflection of both modern winemaking techniques and a deep respect for traditional Tuscan viticulture.

Tenuta Fertuna's winemaking philosophy centers on producing high-quality wines that express the unique terroir of Maremma. The winery utilizes a combination of innovative technology and careful vineyard management to ensure that each bottle reflects the characteristics of the land. The vineyards are primarily planted with traditional Tuscan red varieties such as Sangiovese, as well as international grapes like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, allowing for a diverse portfolio that caters to a broad range of palates. The whites they have the traditional Vermentino and a Vermentino Orange. They also have sparkling one with a Classic Method but the exceptional one is a sparkling wine made with Sangiovese vinified as white wine. The grapes are harvested much earlier than normal Sangiovese to insure the right acidity.

The estate employs sustainable farming practices, and the winemaking process is meticulously controlled from vine to bottle. The modern cellar is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which ensures that the wines are crafted with precision and care. The use of French oak barrels for aging adds complexity and depth to many of the wines, enhancing their profiles.

Among the most notable wines is *Pactio*, a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. This wine is a perfect example of the estate's commitment to balancing tradition with innovation, offering a harmonious blend of fruit-forward flavors, structured tannins, and a long, elegant finish.

Another standout is *Lodai*, a full-bodied red made from 100% Merlot. This wine is characterized by its deep ruby color, intense aromas of ripe red fruits, and a well-rounded palate with soft tannins and a lingering finish. The *Etrurio* Chardonnay, a white wine that combines freshness with complexity, is also worth mentioning. It displays bright acidity, notes of citrus and tropical fruits, and a subtle hint of vanilla from barrel aging.
