2015 Blu Onice : Nativ

This is a red wine from Irpinia it’s made from Aglianico grape. The producer is Nativ located in the Irpinia region. We visited them numerous times the last in December 2022. The wine is a dark ruby with purple highlights the viscosity is medium high 14.5% abv. The nose is intriguing with notes of blackberry, tobacco, cedar wood and spices. The palate is excellent with a velvety wine that fills the mouth with a perfectly balanced acidity and tannins. Full body and a very long finish. In summary an excellent wine that was kept perfect in its age process. To be paired with grilled meat as we did on a Easter Monday. Pm 93.
