Valle D’Aosta Les Cretes Fumin

Valle D’Aosta the farthest North you can get in Italy and the region which hosts Mont Blanc , the highest Mountain in Europe.  So to find an excellent red wine would be hard to imagine. This Fumin is dark ruby with purple highlights , the nose shows notes of red fruits , strawberry, red currant joined by floral notes of violets and finally spices  , the palate gives a full body wine with smooth tannins balanced by a perfect acidity, the finish is long.  a truly enjoyable wine.
