Ravello BIANCO 2017 COSTA D’AMALFI DOC BRUSARA ETTORE SAMMARCO

This is a wine from one of three subregions of the AMALFI coast DOC region: Ravello. ( The others being Tramonti and Furore). 

It is a blend of Biancolella and Biancazita grapes. The latter as a pre Philloxera with their own rootstocks given the vulcanic terroir. The color is pale yellow straw , with a medium high viscosity (13.5% abv). The nose is inviting with notes of stone fruits , white peaches and floral notes of white flowers and finally chamomile. The palate confirms the nose with a medium acidity that makes you salivate for more and a medium full body. A perfect pairing with local appetizers or as aperitif. A truly great wine to try. PM:93
