⸻
Appearance:
A luminous straw yellow with delicate green reflections, indicating youth and vibrancy. Crystal-clear in the glass, with a fine consistency.
Nose:
Expressive and elegant, the bouquet opens with citrus blossom and wild Mediterranean herbs—rosemary, thyme, and a hint of mint. On the second nose, ripe white peach, green apple, and lemon zest unfold, backed by saline nuances and a subtle mineral edge evocative of the Sardinian coastline.
Palate:
Dry and refreshingly crisp, the palate mirrors the nose with bright citrus and orchard fruit notes. There’s a notable saline quality—almost like a sea breeze—paired with a lightly bitter almond finish that adds complexity. The acidity is well-integrated, providing tension and lift, while the texture remains smooth and slightly oily, suggesting brief lees aging.
Finish:
Clean and persistent, with lingering impressions of citrus peel, crushed stone, and a whisper of Mediterranean shrub.
⸻
Food Pairing:
Ideal with shellfish (clams, mussels, oysters), grilled sea bream, fregola with bottarga, or even young pecorino cheese. Also delightful as an aperitivo with marinated olives and pane carasau.
Conclusion:
“Narami 23” is a refined and terroir-driven expression of Sardinian Vermentino—vibrant, coastal, and deeply rooted in the island’s winemaking tradition. A wine that balances freshness with depth, ideal for summer but serious enough to impress year-round.PM 88
