Costa D’Amalfi Ravello Riserva 2014 Marisa Cuomo

This is a red wine from the Amalfi Coast in the sub appellation of Ravello. We visited this winery numerous time and the last one in the summer of 2018. The Ravello Riserva 2014 by Marisa Cuomo is a captivating wine that immediately entices with its enchanting aromas. Upon the first whiff, you are greeted by intense notes of ripe dark fruits, including blackberries, cherries, and plums, interwoven with delicate hints of violet and dried herbs, adding layers of complexity.

On the palate, this wine impresses with its velvety texture, showcasing a perfect balance of bold tannins and graceful acidity. The flavors of the dark fruits persist, accompanied by a subtle touch of smokiness and a pleasant nuance of sweet vanilla from the oak aging.

As you savor each sip, the wine reveals its full-bodied nature, leaving a long-lasting and satisfying finish. It's a wine that evolves beautifully with time in the glass, offering a mesmerizing journey of flavors and sensations.

Overall, the Ravello Riserva 2014 embodies the character of the Amalfi Coast, where the Marisa Cuomo winery is nestled. It's a wine of exceptional craftsmanship, expressing the terroir's essence and the winemaker's dedication, making it an excellent choice for special occasions or indulging in moments of pure pleasure.PM 91
