Franciscus- Cantine di Marzo 2015

This is a white wine from Campania made from Greco di tufo grape. The producer is the iconic di MARZO, that are the original producers of Greco di Tufo wines since 1647. We visited this winery in September 2016. The wine has aged perfectly and has reached his peak in 2020 when we have tasted it. The color is dark yellow straw almost gold. The viscosity is medium (12.5% abv). The nose is absolutely inviting with notes of lemon zest, Apple and floral notes of white flower. The palate is more subtle with unctuous body and low acidity and a very good persistence. A great wine from an historical winery perfect with risotto alla pescatora ( with shell fish) and any fish dish. PM: 89
