Furore - Marisa Cuomo 2016

This is a red wine from the Amalfi Coast. The producer is the iconic Marisa Cuomo considered one of the local best producer. We visited this winery multiple times. The wine is a typical Piedirosso and Aglianico blend. Two of the most ubiquitous regional grapes. It is a medium ruby color with a medium viscosity 13.5% abv. On the nose clear notes of sour cherries, licorice with spices of black pepper. The palate confirms the nose with a medium body wine, soft tannins and a well balanced acidity. The persistence is medium. In summary a good wine that was very well kept and despite the 7 years it showed still its youth but with a gained complexity, it can be paired with pasta in red sauces or any meat dish. Pm 89.
