Refiano 2019 - Cavalier Pepe

This is a white wine made from the Fiano grape from the Irpinia region in Campania. The producer is Cavalier Pepe which we visited multiple times, last one is on 8/15/2020, when we acquired this wine. The color is yellow straw with golden highlights, the viscosity is medium 13%abv. The nose is very intriguing with lemon zest , white peach and flowery notes of jasmine. The palate is harmonious with a medium and unctuous body, the acidity is pronounced but well balanced giving the wine a refreshing feeling. In summary a very good representation of Fiano wine, a great value wine, which we reccomend with any fish dish and above all as aperitif as we tasted. PM: 90
