Terra Mij 2019: Sacco

This is a red wine made from uva di Troia. We visited the producer in July 2021. The producer Sacco is near Foggia. The color is a dark ruby with purple highlights the viscosity is medium (13% abv). The nose after 1/2 hour decanting evolved into a excellent complex bouquet of red berries, vanilla , licorice. The palate confirmed the nose with a velvety tannins perfectly balanced acidity medium body and a long persistence. In summary a good wine that after the initial average reaction with decanting evolved into a very enjoyable wine. Perfectly paired with grilled meat and vegetable ..but can be drank as conversation wine for its low acidity and velvety tannins.
