Feudi di San Gregorio Taurasi 2011

The wine is clear, filtered with no CO2. It is star bright. The color is dark garnet with purple highlights. There is sign of aging in the bottle with the core darker than the rim. The viscosity is low, with small forming, slow falling tears. Indicating a medium high alcohol (14.5%). On the nose aroma of red fruits, raspberry and strawberry. Secondary aroma of black licorice , tobacco and leather. The palate confirms the nose with marked acidity and smooth tannins. A very good expression of Aglianico Taurasi.
