Paololeo Passo del Cardinale Primitivo di Manduria 2014
The wine is clear and filtered. It Is a dark garnet. There is a difference between the core and the ring, showing some aging. The viscosity is medium high, withslow falling tears ( alcohol 14%). On the nose a very fruity dark fruits galore. Notes of blackberry, blackcurrants , dark chocolate. The palate confirms the nose with low acidity and medium high smooth tannins. A very good value Primitivo which is the ancestor of Zinfandel. Recommended.
