The Holdings 2013 Canernet Sauvignon - California

The wine is clear, filtered , star bright. It is dark ruby with purple highlights. The viscosity is medium high, with alcohol level of 13.8%. On the nose a very fruity wine with black berry and   spice aromas with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla. There is sign of new oak (50-75%). The palate confirms the nose with a perfect balance of acidity and smooth tannins , a medium

high body and a medium high finish. A very good wine from a very good vintage from California , generic AVA.  A good value and an excellent choice gor a jucy steak.
