Louis Bernard Cotes du Rhone 2012

The wine is clear and filtered, it is star bright. The color is dark ruby with dark orange highlights. The core is not consistent with the rim which indicates the bottle aging (5 years). The viscosity is medium  ( 13% abv). On the nose notes of raspberry , cherry and a secondary notes of liquorice and black truffles. A clear earthyness and roundiness on the nose. Some indication of use of oak with vanilla aroma. The palate confirms the nose with a perfect balanced acidity and smooth and soft tannins. A medium lenght and a medium body. A good value Cotes du Rhone wine.
