Chicco d’oro 2014 -Tenuta Cavalier Pepe

Chicco d’oro is a Passito wine from Tenuta Cavalier Pepe. It is made by late harvested Fiano grapes. The color is deep yellow straw with golden highlights with a high viscosity (15.5% abv). The nose is aromatic with candied fruits notes of orange peels, dried figs and dates. The palate shows a unctuous wine with the right balance of sweetness and acidity. It is a good passito made from a very aromatic grape like Fiano.. it is a perfect pairing with chocolate, sweets and seasoned cheeses. PM:89
