Sassi Neri 2016- Fattorie Le Terrazze

This is a Conero DOCG Reserva from the Conero area  in the Marche region. It is produced by the Fattoria Le Terrazze. It is 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. The color is dark ruby with purple highlights. The viscosity is medium  (13.5% abv). The nose shows notes of black currants and black berry, in addition .  notes of dried flowers and licorice , vanilla and cedar wood. The palate confirms the nose presents a wine with a full body, with a silky tannins and a long persistence.   The wine is a perfect pairing for steak or seasoned cheeses or any meat sauce pasta.
