Sauvignon 2018 - Conte Leopardi

This is a white wine made from Sauvignon from the Marche region’s producer Conte Leopardi ( the producer carries the last name of the iconic poet from Recanati ). It’s an IGT and good value wine. Its color is yellow straw with golden highlights. It has medium high viscosity ( 13.5% abv). The nose shows notes which are not necessarily a perfect varietal match with apricots , white peaches and pineapple .. with less powerful notes of cut grass. The palate confirms the nose with a full body a medium high acidity and a long persistence with a strong minerality. In summary a good value wine for every day drinking ; It’s a prefect aperitif or a pairing to pasta with any fish sauce. PM 88
