Il Bianco di Marilina 2013 Cantine Marilina

This wine is made from Grecanico and is from Cantine Marilina which we visited in March 2019 in Noto , Sicily. Given the old age of this wine for a white, it passed its prime. 

The wine presented an extreme oxidization due to exposure to heat. It had a dark color ( Ambra ) although the nose was pleasant with candied fruits and the palate was almost Sherry like. It was drinkable but not worth it the pleasure for a Christmas Eve dinner.
