Borgo Paglianetto Verdicchio di Matelica Vertis 2015

This is a Verdicchio from Matelica in the Marche region in Italy. We visited this winery in May 2019. The wine is clear and filtered. It has a dark straw yellow with golden highlights. The viscosity is medium (13.5% abv). The nose is very inviting with notes of lemon zest, green apple and pineapple. The palate confirms the nose with a perfectly balanced acidity and a medium body the medium finish shows a strong minerality and taste of almonds.
