Titta’ - Maserria Cardillo 2015

This is a wine from the Masseria Cardillo in Basilicata region. The wine is a blend of Aglianico and Primitivo. We visited this winery in December 2018. The wine is dark ruby with purple highlights and a medium viscosity (13.5%’anv). The nose is very intriguing with blackberry and black currant aromas, secondary’s notes of dark chocolate , black pepper. The palate confirms the nose with a perfectly balanced acidity and smooth tannins and a medium high body, all in perfect balance. A very good wine to be enjoyed with any meat dish or hard cheeses PM 92
